Building Aide Position @ Chester Charter School

Chester Community Charter School’s mission is to empower students as learners.  To that end CCCS seeks knowledgeable, dedicated individuals who can provide access and opportunity for learning, increase student motivation to succeed, provide excellent academic preparation in order to provide high levels of academic performance.  CCCS successfully met the mandates under NCLB by making Adequately Yearly Progress (AYP) in 2009, and this significant achievement is directly attributable to our fine teaching staff.   If you want to become part of a tremendous team, and you feel that you possess the skills necessary to educate inner city youth, CCCS is the place for you!

CCCS has an opening for a 10 month Building Aide position. This position will provide support in monitoring student behavior, schoolwork and maintaining order. Previous work experience with innercity youth a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The ability to monitor the hall.
Handling without confusion any disturbances.
Speaking in a quiet voice without yelling at the students.
Assisting the teachers when they need help in grading test.
Helping the children coming off of the bus to get in line to enter the school.
